Madalyn "Maddog" Wofford

Madalyn Wofford (MW) is fully immersed in the WNC Craft Scene, residing in Black Mountain, NC and serving as Art & Craft Department Coordinator at Warren Wilson College and curatorial overseer of WWC’s Elizabeth Holden Gallery. She worked as the Advocate for Community Engagement for BMCM+AC’s 2024 exhibition, Black Mountain College and Mexico where she organized a series of events called Bizarre Sábado that drew connections between international artists and the greater AVL community. MW co-orchestrates Southbound Craft Fair in Winston-Salem, stage manages Asheville’s first ever Crankie Festival, and hosts Experimental Art Club at Swannatopia headquarters, where she also nurtures her own craft practice- exploring stained glass, screen printing, embroidery, soft sculpture and animation, and producing a line of limited-edition wearables as GlowspaceArts.
